A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 25 March 1960

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the student newspaper, Die Perdeby announced that Tukkie student, Alan Brown has been made a national water polo champion.

Alan Brown first enrolled at UP in 1955. Since his first year he won numerous medals in the pool. He also received his South African colors in the breast stroke and butterfly. The article (featured above) reported that Brown will represent South African at the 1960 Olympic games in Rome.
