A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 23 March 1948

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the University council decide to approve an Engineering Faculty in principle.

Given the limited funds available UP first decided to consolidated the existing faculties. In the interim the UP council nominated a committee to investigate and guide the forming of an engineering faculty. Dr. F. Meyer, Dr. F. J. de Villiers and  mr. C. L. de Bruyn led this committee.

The UPA preserves the history of the University of Pretoria.
