The article (featured above) encouraged students and staff to wear a name tag. Lectures wore a blue name bar with white letters, first year students wore a green bar with white letters and all other students a black bar with white letters. The new clothing regulations stated that ladies could only wear sandals on campus if it had a strap at the back of the ankle. Ladies were not permitted to wear long pant skirt or pants on campus. If they arrive at the residence in pants they should change before leaving the front of house. Men were not permitted to wear sandals and if they did decide to wear shorts it had to be paired with long socks. Safari suits were permitted only if they wore a long or short sleeve shirt of the same color.
