17 November 2008: Training at HPC. On this “Day in the life of the University of Pretoria” UP campus news (article listed below) featured the swimming and training facilities at the High Performance Centre (HPC).

French swimming coach, Richard Martinez brought, 6 swimmers of the French National Team to train at the HPC between 2 and 15 November. Martinez explained that: “The pool is perfect, the gym compares with the best in the world and of course with the summer here in South Africa the weather is great for training”.
