A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 13 November 1943

13 November 1943: Old student bond. This “Day in the life of the University of Pretoria” ended with an evening dinner to form an Old student and Convocation bond for UP. Prof de Loor (pictured here), a lecturer in the then Faculty of Commerce and Public Administration, lead the negotiations.

This function was attended by a large number of enthusiastic alumni. During this evening they appointed 22 board members as well as a concept constitution. Kya Rosa, that was rebuilt on the main campus used to house Tuks Alumni.
