29 October 1977: 2009 Rugby awards.  On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria", UP celebrated its 2009 rugby achievements.

At the function, Etienne Breytenbach (forward) and Fanie Booysen (backline) received the players of the year reward. The chairman also mentioned the large number of Tuks Rugby players that were selected for the local and national teams.
