A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 27 October 1988

27 October 1988: Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Public Health officially opened. On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the rector and vice-chancellor Prof DM Joubert  opened the new facilities on the Onderstepoort campus.

The architects for the expansions were Vermooten, Du Plooy & Oosthuizen. The facilities included: post mortem halls, cool rooms, laboratories and support areas.

The UPA preserves the history of the University of Pretoria.
