06 October 1975:  First years showcase their performing talent. On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" the annual first year drama performance was shown in the Masker Theatre.

This year the first years performed the play “Ester” by Jean Racine.  The play (advertised in the article above) is based on the popular religious story where a Jewish exile married the Persian King Ahasveros.
