The newspaper (featured above) noted that during an emergency the lecturer is in charge the evacuation. The paper advised students that during an emergency they should: stay calm and avoid panic; walk briskly and do not run; exit the building at the main exit or fire exit; if the exit route is filled with smoke crouch down as more fresh air will be available; avoid electrical equipment; switches and damaged cables.
