25 August 1972: Oral hygiene services to UP students. On this “Day in the life at the University of Pretoria” the student paper, Die Perdeby, reported that UP students could visit the Tukkie Oral and Dental Hospital for a free consultation.

Reporters from Die Perdeby (featured above) visited the hospital and reported on the professional service of the students who were all dressed in orange uniforms.
The oral and dental hospital (pictured below) was completed in 1951.
