He received the award for his excellent teaching in the field of graduate Business Studies in the MBA Programme Master in International Tourism Management”.

Prof Heath, presented modules in strategic tourism marketing as part of the MBA International Tourism Management programme, which attracts students from more than 20 countries around the world. He has also previously received international recognition for his work in tourism education and tourism management from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO); the Indian Ocean Tourism Organization (IOTO); the Tourism Society of Britain; SKÅL International; and Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI).
