Prof Mokomake holds an MA and Ph.D. in Demography both from the Australian National University. Before joining the University of Pretoria in 2015, she was a Chief Research Specialist at the Human Sciences Research Council. Prof. Mokomane has extensive research, policy and programmatic interest and expertise in the field of family studies, with specific interest in work-family interface, childcare, elder care and social protection. She has a C2 rating from the National Research Foundation.
