The project is a collaboration between Prof Somdeep Sen at the Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University and myself, and the PhD will be based at Roskilde University and jointly supervised by Prof Sen and myself. The PhD candidate will also have an affiliation with the Centre for Asian Studies in Africa at the University of Pretoria, and will be expected to carry out substantial ethnographic fieldwork in South Africa.
