The Department boasts four NRF-rated researchers and has a reputation for producing high numbers of quality research resulting in a good number of articles published in ISI accredited journals. It has also been successful in securing large competitive grants from the NRF and other institutions, while continuing to strengthen national, continental and intercontinental research networks.
