The group is made up of researchers and clinicians from various disciplines and whose passion lies in neuroscience. The group focuses on four main research areas (traumatic brain injury, pain, speech and hearing and motor and autonomic functioning). Professor Michael Pepper of the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, heads the group, which organized the inaugural Neuroscience Day of the University of Pretoria in May 2010.
