The Onderstepoort Paraveterinary and Veterinary Student Committee (OPVSC) functions as the student representative council of the University of Pretoria's Faculty of Veterinary Science in Onderstepoort, Pretoria.
The committee handles all student-related matters on campus such as academic matters, social events and sports to name a few. We strive to act as the voice of the student body and have direct contact with the staff and management of the Faculty. Our aim is to improve communication between the students and the Faculty of Veterinary Science. As students, we have the best interest of our students at heart and strive to make their wants and needs known.
We see ourselves as a committee that the students can continually rely on for faculty information and strive to lead selflessly and to make an impact in the lives of those around us. The pinnacle achievement at the end of our term would be to inspire students to follow in our footsteps and serve their fellow students.
We have a wide range of portfolios that endeavour to cover all aspects of student life, among others, Academics, Social & Culture, and Sport and Transformation. If you need to contact our committee, speak to us directly by sending an email to [email protected]
. We are always ready to assist you!
