The Department of Mining Engineering at University of Pretoria congratulated Professor Tawana Kupe as the new Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University on 22 February 2019 during a visit where Professor Ronny Webber-Youngman (HOD) gave Professor Tawana Kupe (Vice-Chancellor and Principal) and Professor Sunil Maharaj (Dean of EBIT) a tour through the Virtual Reality Centre.
