Retha Knoetze has been newly appointed as the English language skills instructor in the Department of Mining Engineering. She will be focused on improving the communication skills of students, with a strong focus on improving the language usage of students in their written work. Good communication skills are essential for students’ success in their academic endeavours and are also very valuable in the workplace. The language skills instruction that this department provides will give Mining Engineering students from Tuks an edge over others.
