The main function of SACAM is to bring together engineers, scientists and applied mathematicians from academia and industry from across the globe to encourage scientific engagement and exchange of ideas in applied mechanics.

Due to several requests received from Institutions wanting to participate in SACAM2012 the LOC has decided to extend the deadline for extended abstracts to 19 March 2012 at 23:59. Please note that this is a fixed date and that the deadline will not be extended again.

You are invited to submit an extended abstract by 19 March 2012 to /s:/cmt.research.microsoft.com/SACAM2012/. For selected extended abstracts, full papers must be submitted by 17 April 2012 for double blind peer review in order to be included in the conference proceedings (with International Standard Serial Number). Final papers are due on 29 June 2012.
