Please note that all microscopy bookings at LMM are done via an online booking spreadsheet. No walk-ins are allowed. Should you find yourself unable to edit the spreadsheet, please send a request to [email protected].za and an LLM staff member will be able to assist you. Below is a procedure for booking.
University of Pretoria Users: Users are required to submit a New user Registration form at the beginning of the project. This form is to be updated
i) When the project is completed and a new project commences
ii). Users transition to the next study level, for example, honors to Masters
iii) Changing of Project leader or over a cycle of 2 years.
Other Universities users: Users are required to submit a New user registration form at the beginning of the project. A quotation will be generated based on the number of samples to be analyzed. The user is then required to submit a purchase order from their institution.
Industry/ Private users: Users are required to submit a New user registration form for our administration. A quote will be generated based on the number of samples and analysis requirements.
Once the form and/or purchase order have been submitted, users can go ahead and schedule their microscopy session appointment via our online booking system. For new microscope users, please book a training appointment prior to your session.
