Content

Professional registration is something that all prospective and current students consider. This workshop will address professional registration with SACNASP. Students are encouraged to plan their studies and futures bearing this in mind and ensuring that they comply with all the requirements to register professionally, including making the correct subject and degree choices. Staff can be assisted about why professional registration is important to them, and/or to assist their students to prepare for this.

There are different categories of registration, and registration must be maintained to continue your professional development. Academic staff and graduated students who are working are mostly involved in voluntary associations (VAs) that manage different professions to comply with the requirements of SACNASP. Participants will be given a comprehensive overview of the different VAs to SACNASP and their role in shaping the various professions, including opportunities for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Questions will be addressed, and open discussions encouraged to ensure that everyone leaves more comfortable and knowledgeable about their professional futures.
