The equipment is almost ready to be used. The equipment is one of very few available which means that the findings and results will be very valuable for industry and mining as well, and the installation is being finalised. Rock porosity is a very important parameter, and it is very difficult to determine in the field and laboratory. Very little research has been done on this topic, and our first aim is to verify the results with other methods and to determine how it can be used. 

It requires core of 1 inch (~2.5 cm) in diameter and 3 inches (~7.5 cm) in length, meaning that we will acquire a core drill to drill the samples ourselves. Industry is welcome to guide and assist us in this endeavour to ensure that we contribute to your need and queries as well.
