    The latest seasonal forecast is available. What is predicted? Dry conditions over larger parts of Namibia with rainfall expectations remaining favourable over the eastern parts. A weak El Niño is predicted, with ENSO predicted to be neutral by early 2019.

    Mr Nick de Beer, a lecturer in Chemistry in the Faculty of Natural- and Agricultural Sciences (NAS) at the University of Pretoria, was voted the Best First-year Lecturer in the Faculty on 1 December 2017.
