UP Law staff’s COVID-19 related activities from July to September 2020

Posted on November 10, 2020

Work and the traditional workplace as we used to know it have been profoundly interrupted by the COVID-19 onslaught. The pandemic spread like wildfire, causing health and socio-economic destruction in its global wake.  However, academics of the Faculty of Law (UP Law) at the University of Pretoria (UP) loyally continued with their academic functions behind the pandemic-shroud, remaining dedicated to ensuring a successful academic year for UP Law students.  During this period, staff expanded their functions to include COVID-19 activities, as set out in the infographic depicting the period July to September 2020.

A proud Dean Elsabe Schoeman 'acknowledged the contributions of all UP Law staff members who are working behind the scenes and computer screens to ensure the successful completion of the 2020 academic year, and those who over and above their usual duties are making a positive impact in the public and legal arena. UP Law remains grateful to everyone involved in the continuous fight against the pandemic and their efforts to minimise its devastating consequences on humanity.'
