Prof. Jean d’Aspremont, who holds the Chair for Public International Law at the University of Manchester (UK) and Sciences Po School of Law (France), will lead a one-day writing school on 6 June 2019. The writing school is hosted by the SARChI Professorship in International Constitutional Law in the Faculty of Law of the University of Pretoria and will include participants from other SARChI chairs in the region in an attempt to foster synergy between various SARChi projects.

Prof D’Aspremont is one of the leading scholars of his generation and inter alia holds an LL.M from Cambridge University and a doctorate from the University of Louvain. He has published widely in leading journals and with leading publishers.
