The aim of the event is to celebrate the diversity of Africa and what it means to be African. Furthermore, the Africa Day Celebration will facilitate conversations on Pan-Africanism and how we can stand in solidarity with African migrants on the injustices and inhumane experiences of xenophobia in South Africa. #AfricanMigrantsMatter

Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the African Union (formerly known as Organisation of African Unity) on 25 May 1963.
