SARChI postdoctoral fellow to present a paper at the Digital Citizens Conference in Melbourne Law School

Lukman Abdulrauf, a postdoctoral research fellow affiliated with the SARChI Professorship in International Constitutional Law, has been selected to present a paper at the inaugural conference of the Digital Citizens Research Network of the Melbourne Law School, Australia (https://law.unimelb.edu.au/digital-citizens/conference#about).

The Conference which takes place on the 24th-26th July will be held at the Melbourne Law School, Australia. The Title of Dr Abdulrauf’s presentation is “Trends and implication of internet censorship in Africa: Any hope for consolidation of democracy and governance?”

The Digital Citizens Conference brings together members of academia, industry and government with an interest in law and technology. The conference seeks to explore the rights of citizens and the responsibilities of the state in ensuring equity, transparency, and accountability in a rapidly changing technological environment (see https://law.unimelb.edu.au/digital-citizens/conference#about).
