Dear Colleagues We are writing to invite you to participate in the inaugural meeting of the Transnational Law Interest Group, hosted by the Centre for Human Rights, the International Development Law Unit and the Institute for International and Comparative Law in Africa in the Faculty of Law of the University of Pretoria. The aim of the interest group is to bring together experts from government, the private sector, law firms, civil society and academia to discuss topical issues pertaining to transnational law. Transnational law is to be understood in a broad sense, embracing public international law, private international law, international economic law and also comparative law. The inaugural meeting will take place on 5 October 2010 between 12:00 to 15:00.
