Godwin Kakande and Alberts Krige (both final year LLB students) represented TuksLaw and achieved second place.

Each two-member team represents a client in a mock trial before impartial judges, opposing a similar team from another university. The team performances are judged based on their grasp of the law, tactics and general trial advocacy skills.

The Mock Trial Competition fosters the development of trial skills and ethics among law students, as well as raising the profile of litigation as a law career option.
