'Celebrating Africa Day': Public lecture

AFRICA DAY CELEBRATION

Unfortunately, Dr Sallah was, at the last minute, undable to come to South Africa. We therefore regret to inform all those interested that the public lecture has been cancelled.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Centre for Human Rights
wishes you an excellent Africa Day, and encourage all Africans to reflect on the meaning of being an
‘African’, on the ties that bind us all as Africans and on the ways in which we may contribute to making Africa a better place for its people.


Dr Salah Hammad
, based at the African Union’s Department of Political Affairs in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will provide an analysis of the African Union’s role in human rights in contemporary Africa.
