There is a case to be made for the operation of a Lunar Station

Posted on September 19, 2013

The TuksLaw team earned the right to represent the African continent at this Competition after winning the African rounds earlier this year.

The 2013 Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition Problem deals with the “Republics of Lydios and Endymion which are both advanced space faring nations with a long history of competition, rivalry and occasional warfare into the early 20th Century, resulting in a court case at the “International Court of Justice at the Peace Palace, The Hague”.  In contention are the operation of and docking rights at a lunar station, failed deployment of twin probes, unilateral imposing of the Moon Protection Act or failure to comply and violations of international laws.
Our best wishes accompany the TuksLaw team and we know they will make the University proud.
