14th Law Faculty Festival

One of the highlights on the Law House social calendar is UP Law’s Annual Faculty Festival (FacFest). In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the spirit of our virtual transition, Law House decided to uphold the FacFest tradition with a twist – they hosted the event online.  Thus on 29 September 2002, Law House hosted its 14th annual Faculty Festival first ever virtual FacFest themed 'Breaking Barriers'.

The aim of the event was to uphold the UP Law and Law House tradition, with the aim to provide students with a day of fun, laughter and entertainment, as Law House is aware that these are challenging times for all.

Every event that we hosted held an opportunity to win a cash prize, as many students are facing financial difficulties and we wanted to provide assistance in whatever way possible. We were also privileged enough to have the Department of Public Law which participated in our event, to give it a real FacFest feel.

UP Law’s appreciation goes out to Werksmans Attorneys for their continued sponsorship of this event and UP Law.
