"We are not afraid!" - 13th Law Faculty Festival

At the end of July and beginning of August 2019, the Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria hosted its 13th Annual Faculty Festival, sponsored by Werksmans Attorneys.

The event started off with Yoga and Self-defence classes on 31 July and 1 August 2020 respectively, which was well attended by law students.

On 2 August 2020, young (students) and old (staff) attended the Festival and a jolly good time was had by all.  As per custom, students and staff showcased their talents on stage.  

The famous Lizelle le Roux, winner of the 2019 Ghoema Awards for Best Instrumental Album,and a lecturer in the Department of Jurisprudence, showed the crowd why she was the top violinist in South Africa.

Prof Christof Heyns and his band, 'The Outlaws', were again there to entertain the crowd with their rock 'n roll genre of popular music and truly rocked the house.
