Disability Unit Support group for Students Diagnosed with Epilepsy
Epilepsy can be hard to manage and may interfere with daily life. The Disability Unit offers a support group for students who are diagnosed with epilepsy. Support groups bring together people who are going through or have gone through similar experiences.
We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to engage with others in a safe and supportive environment. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to develop effective coping strategies within the academic and social environment and decrease isolation. The support group will also feature, where possible, inputs from specialists who manage persons diagnosed with epilepsy.
