Reflections on the Young Educators Seminar at

Northeast Normal University, Changchun

The talk will provide a background to the Young Educators Seminar which was held from 8 to 28 May 2015 in Changchun, China.  The principles of the Chinese education system will be explained and their planned reform processes in this regard will be outlined.  An introduction to Northeast Normal University (NENU) will be provided, and the association between NENU and UP will be discussed. The structure of the Faculty of Chemistry at NENU and their areas of research interest will be highlighted, in order to determine collaborative possibilities between NENU and UP in this regard.  The talk promises to include plenty of anecdotes and photographs!
