Neil Malan (PhD student of Prof Egmont Rohwer) won the Best student poster award, sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry, and Leandri van der Wat (Honours student supervised by Dr Patricia Forbes) won the Best student oral presentation award which was sponsored by ChromSA. The panel of four international judges were very impressed by the high standard of all the students contributions. As you can see from the photos, it was big smiles all round for the group!
