Welcome to the Department of Cardio-thoracic Surgery at the University of Pretoria

As part of the University of Pretoria Faculty of Health Sciences, the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery plays an important role in the teaching of post-graduate students at the University of Pretoria, as well as providing in-service training for Clinical Technologists in Cardiovascular Perfusion. 

This site provides information to you as a student within the faculty, or as a visitor seeking to understand what it is that we are aiming to achieve.
