Face-to-face teaching in three modules was offered, namely Value-added Taxation (EKN 837), Sub-National Taxation (EKN 838) and Current Issues in Taxation (EKN 839).

Apart from a number of South African instructors, the following international taxation specialists were used as instructors: Prof Sijbren Cnossen (emeritus professor, University of Maastricht, the Netherlands and extraordinary professor at UP), Prof Pierre-Pascal Gendron (Humber College, Toronto, Canada), Prof Roy Bahl (recently retired from Georgia State University, United States and also extraordinary professor at UP) and Dr William McCluskey (University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, UK).
