University of Pretoria Archives

The University of Pretoria Archives is the University of Pretoria’s memory bank. In line with current legislation, our mission is to collect, sort, preserve, catalogue and make information about the university available to staff members, students, alumni and researchers. The UP Archives includes a wide range of records regarding UP’s history such as documents, minutes, reports, clippings, photographs, University publications. The UP Archives actively engages in projects to shed light on UP’s history through publications and exhibitions, as well as contributes to teaching and learning endeavours in a range of academic departments at the University.
