Biography

Annelize Jonker qualified as a veterinarian from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria, in 1994. As a state veterinarian she spent eight years at an export abattoir and twelve years at a veterinary diagnostic laboratory before returning to academia in 2015. She is registered with the South African Veterinary Council as a veterinarian and is currently Senior Lecturer in bacteriology in the Dept. of Veterinary Tropical Diseases, University of Pretoria.
