A day in the life at the University of Pretoria. 11 May 1979

On this "Day in the life of the University of Pretoria" UP’s ‘Motor Sport Club’ organized a car exhibit.

 A range of real cars were displayed in the Rautenbach Hall during 1979. The exhibition included racing cars, sport cars, motor bikes and even a boat. The student newspaper the Perdeby, which was published on this day, highlighted the popularity of this exhibition and even featured some cars that were displayed in the hall.

The UPA preserves the history of the University of Pretoria.
