The Office of the Deputy Director is responsible for three units. These are the Student Governance Unit, the Student Health Unit and the Disability Unit. The Deputy Director also oversees the Student Nutrition And Progress Programme (SNAPP).
Student Nutrition and Progress Programme (SNAPP)
SNAPP aims to assist students from underprivileged or harsh family backgrounds, with limited financial support, or no support at all, with a basic food allowance. Students who require assistance have to formally apply to SNAPP every semester within a given academic year. Applications open during the first week of every semester and are administered through of Office of the Deputy Director of Student Affairs.
The programme focuses on the following three goals – each aimed at fostering higher quality education:
