MSc Sports Medicine course

Our students come from all over South Africa, from as far south as Cape Town to as far north as Phalaborwa. We have also had students flying in from Uruguay, Canada, United Kingdom, China, Nigeria, Congo, Zimbabwe and Angola.

However, what really fills us with pride is to see what our students have accomplished in the sports medical arena. They have, amongst others, been part of the medical teams of the National u-17 male soccer team, World Student Games, Mamelodi Sundowns, Basketball South Africa, Kaizer Chiefs, Banyana Soccer Girls, Athletics South Africa, Bay United Soccer, Proteas Cricket, Junior Blue Bulls, Sharks, Gauteng Lions, Mighty Elephant Rugby, All Africa Games, Junior Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, etc.

Apart from their involvement in sports teams we also find them serving their communities. Several of our students are involved in Sports Centres in various locations in the country and many has stayed involved with the Section Sports Medicine and promotes education through research.
