“Science is fun” is Sci-Enza’s school holiday programme that caters to learners from Grade R - Grade 9. Every school holidays Sci-Enza runs a science themed programme which creates a platform for kids to explore and discover the wonderes of science through a variety of activities. With a limited number of spaces available it is essential to purchase your tickets quickly. Tickets are sold online strictly - no bookings allowed.

Spring Holiday Programme 23 - 27 September 2024
Sci-Enza Science Centre would like to invite all young science enthusiasts to our quarterly holiday programme designed to offer the learners a unique and exciting experience in STEM through different engaging educational activities.
This spring we are offering the:
Climate
We invite young scientists to join us to learn about the icehouse and greenhouse climate, the changes we are experiencing with the weather, and many other facets of climate.
Grades R-3: 23 & 25 September 2024 [R300]
Grades 4-6: 26 & 27 September 2024 [R300]

Preliminary schedule
To make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we have outlined some important guidelines for parents and guardians:
Programmes are facilitated by Sci-Enza staff members at the Centre.
Each programme runs from 09:00 to 13:00 on the specified days.
Parents/guardians must pack lunch and water for the kids, as they cannot leave the Sci-Enza premises to purchase food or drinks.
Parents should drop the kids off before 9:00 and pick them up at 13:00.
Children must be collected from the centre, no child will be allowed to walk home or to an office.
No parent will be allowed to join the programme.
