The Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria congratulates Dr Melanie Murcott in its Department of Public Law on the attainment of her doctorate degree in Constitutional Law on Tuesday, 18 February 2020.
Supervised by Prof LJ Kotzé from NWU, Murcott's thesis is titled 'Towards a social justice-oriented environmental law jurisprudence in South Africa'. The examination panel members included Prof Oliver Fuo (NWU), Prof Marius Pieterse (Wits) and Prof Nathan Cooper (University of Waikato, New Zealand).
