Our Registrars Do It Again!

2015 has been a phenomenal year for our Paediatric Registrars. We had a 100% success in the clinical component of the FC Paed part 2 exam. A very lucky 13 candidates passed. Whilst I would not detract from the wonderful skills our registrars possess I would suggest that a significant component of this success should be apportioned to the training programme developed by Dr Jeane Cloete and Prof Izelle Smuts. Every component of that programme is carefully crafted to the new FC Paed exam format. They also run a bi-annual mock exam. Their efforts are our success.

And just a final word to remind you that Dr Douna Granga passed his MMed. Douna came to us hardly speaking English and went back to Chad a fully qualified Paediatrician.
