The workshop on Paediatric Intensive Care is a new addition to the UPdate and will go a long way to improve knowledge of this often neglected field in our discipline. We are pleased to have Professor Savvas Andronikou, a world expert in paediatric radiology, attend our meeting and we hope that our radiology colleagues will join us for his talks on the Saturday morning.

The rest of the programme includes sessions on neurology, allergy, cardiology and common paediatric problems. On the Sunday we conclude with talks on the Childcare Act as well as palliative care. These are presented during the Ethics session.

We trust that, once again, you will support the UPdate and go home with new insights.
