Welcome to the Urogynaecology Unit of the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Pretoria. This unit together with the department of Physiotherapy and Urology provides a multidisciplinary service to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

The unit offers a diverse variety of treatment strategies such as behavioural, educational, physical therapy and surgical intervention tailored to the needs of the patient. The unit is actively involved with the South African Urogynaecology Association (SAUGA) and the International Urogynaecology Association (IUGA).
