Student Wellness Session

Description:
A collaborative initiative between NATHouse, Vividus Day House, and the Student Counselling Unit aimed at promoting self-reflection, mindfulness, and personal growth.
Students participated in relaxing activities such as zen colouring and yoga, followed by an insightful discussion by Dr. Kelebobilge Mbebe on The Three Circles of Agricultural Education: Control, Influence, and Concern, encouraging students to focus on what they can manage, impact, and understand.
The event provided a safe and supportive space for mental wellness, empowerment, and community connection.
Letter to Self

Description:
A reflective workshop encouraging students to write letters to their future selves as a means of fostering self-awareness, goal-setting, and personal growth.
The activity promoted introspection and provided a creative outlet for expressing ambitions and aspirations.
Academic Wellness Round Table
Date & Time: 14 May 2025, 18:00
Location: Online
Description:
An interactive in-person session where students shared study tips, discussed test week experiences, and explored ways to manage academic stress.
This event created a supportive environment for open conversation and peer learning.
My Pronouns Are

Location: IT Building 2-26
Description:
In collaboration with House Humanities and Commercii. A new event aimed at fostering inclusivity, understanding, and respect for diverse gender identities and pronoun use.
Through open discussion and interactive activities, students were encouraged to explore the importance of pronouns, dismantle stereotypes, and create a more respectful campus culture.
This event created a supportive environment for open conversation and peer learning.
Academic Wellness Round Table

Description:
Hosted in collaboration with Megan Roberts and Nomfundo Zikhali, this virtual session gave students the opportunity to share academic progress updates, exchange study strategies, and address stress management in a flexible online setting.
