Culture

The culture portfolio mainly focuses on the advancement of student life and interactions. Most of the
event we participate in are set out by STUKU, the student culture  body of the university. These events
include: 1nSync, Debate, Step It Up and Sing It Acapella. We also hold our own culture events for
students in our faculty like Art In Science and some open to everyone in the university like Pets And
Plants. One of our main focuses is to expose students to different cultures and walks of life and through
this, foster positive interactions. We aim to unite students through their common interests in dance,
debating, singing, gardening, drawing and so much more. This portfolio is here to help you make friends!
 
Event Achievements:

• STUKU 1nSync – Placed 3 rd in the mixed category
• STUKU Debate – Quarter finalists, 2 speakers ranked in the Top 10 speakers of the tournament

• Step It UP - Most multicultural overall
• Step it UP - Best Faculty House performance
• Step it UP - Most multicultural Faculty House
